I'm not able to find the difference between this and Rakza 7. May be that's just my level. Spinny but sometimes ball squeaks on contact and dies into the net.

I initially got some weird results out of this rubber on an ALC-like blade (it was very sensitive to how you contacted the ball which would sometimes slip for no good reason, a behavior which no other rubber exhibited on that blade), but then I put it on a stiff Tibhar Fortino Performance blade and it's a match made in heaven.

The throw angle is quite low, which might put off some players, but let me tell you: it's exactly what you want for your FH. With the correct technique you can hit some really fast spiny shots that really seem to stick to the table after contact... very hard to return. Also good for serves but also requires good technique.

Also initially I didn't really like it for my BH, but after improving my technique and giving it another try a year later I'm really beginning to dig it, so much that I consider switching to it as well.

It's definitely harder to play it on the BH, but it's a skill issue, nothing wrong with the rubber itself... and I had the same feeling about it on the FH in the beginning as well, so it might be worth a serious try.

For the price it's a great value for an intermediate player. The performance ceiling is high but it also demands you to learn how to play with it, which I think is great.

This is a good rubber for beginner to intermediate players. It lacks the spin. I'd prefer Nittaku Fastarc G-1 to use than this.

Bought this rubber after reading that it's the "budget tenergy", and I have to say that even when I've not owned a tenergy 05 rubber (but tried it though), this rubber was a bit fast for me at the beginning. It's very springy, so if you just block the hits a bit flat, the ball will fly out of the table, but after adapting the bat's angle, counterattacks are so fast with little effort. It's also great for flat shots and topspin.
I wouldn't recommend this rubber to beginners because it's a bit unforgiving, if you hit a shot with enough conviction and technique, it's likely to go out, but in good hands, this rubber is a beast.

My setup is Yasaka Dynamix 17, Rakza 9 FH, Rakza X BH.
Perfect. Could do anything, with great spin and speed, high durability, rubbers keep their efficiency for a long time.
Not for beginners who need more control and slower equipment to improve different skills.

I am very happy with that rubber for my backhand.
I had a Rakza 7 SOFT and changed for this fastest rubber ever, it is really awesome. Not as spinny as the Rakza X as I have understood but for a very fast loop or good chops this is definitely the rubber you need.

I have a diverse playing style (50-50 split between loops/chops) using an offensive blade. The Rakza 9 on attack has excellent spin, speed, and control for looping, flicks, bananas, etc. On chops, generate very heavy downspin but can also do no spin as well. Only weak point is that the surface seems to wear quickly (100-120 hours of play), although it is still pretty effective, even when it looks worn. The edges do crumble at the end of life as well (like Tenergy).

After playing with Rakza 7 which is medium to high throw rubber.
I decided to try Rakza 9, superb characteristics short game, insensitive to incoming spin, almost same spin as Rakza 7, thunder like speed.

Because of medium to low throw it is recommended on high throw blades.

If you are an offensive player and have very good control but need more power, this is very good rubber.
My experience shows that you need to add more brush on almost every ball, which makes it difficult to control but definitely makes you a very good offensive player after you develop the skill.

If you are more of a flat hitter, then I do recommend this rubber. I decided to changed my FH rubber to this because I have a long arms and by putting a fast rubber like this, it can make a diiference for me to adjust on an attacking stroke (short flat strokes).

В первую очередь пишу для тех кто соберается приобрести данную накладку, мнение чисто субъективное.
Начнем с параметров:
Скорость : довольно быстрая (но не все так просто)
Цепкость топшита: хорошая но не идеальная для совсем не липкой накладки.
Жесткость: жесткая
Вращение : сильное
Долговечность: отличная
И конечно же контроль: очень обманчив, так как он бывает разный(по типу) и о каком вы сейчас думаете я не знаю.
Наклеена она была на long 3.
И так контроль, важнейший параметр, который дает складывается из контроля накладка+дерево.
Ввиду того что губка жесткая, линейная, т.е. включается сразу (но чтоб включить надо прожать) ей очень легко делать накат, просто все летит в стол. С плоским ударом нормально, блок хорошый.
Все бы хорошо если бы не активный контроль, чуть не тот угол ракетки на контр топспине или топспине по нижнему - вылет за стол. Чисто топшитом МЕДЛЕННЫЙ мяч цепануть сложно, да и толку мало, губка не включится из за жесткости, вращение слабое....
Вывод: это довольно ТРУДНАЯ по игре накладка, может она в чем то и превосходит те же тенерджи, но подумайте, сможете ли вы ей управлять.
Может быть не та основа...хотя врятли, т.к. мне Acuda s1t справа играть легче гораздо, а она немного быстрей т64.

Yasaka claims that Rakza 9 is the fastest among their Rakza range and this rubber has lived up to that badge. With proper technique and adequate skill, this rubber can produce unreal speed and extreme power to your shots. Great for forehand. I have this on Yasaka Max Carbon 3D and it is amazing. Great for looping and flat hits, throw angle is low so your opponents can't easily return your shots. The sponge is medium-hard and the built quality is excellent as it was made in Germany. Highly recommended for offensive players.

Just as it's description, R9 is more bouncing and speedy than R7 but has a slightly harder surface feel.I put R9 in FH and R7 in BH and they perform well. The only disadvantage is R9 is heavier about 47g after cutting.

This rubber is good. Hands down. I'm using 1.8mm as my backhand rubber.
sometimes I turn my bat and use it as forehand and it smashes well and serves well. Price wise it's still quite expensive compared to chinese rubbers which can produce an almost equal quality play.

Rakza 9 is a good rubber suitable to block very fast with your backhand. Too much fast for forehand in my opinion . It´s spinny and very elastic.It's easy to play in middle distance too. It's hard about 46º. Rakza 7 does a low arc. However Rakza 9 does a more high arc but it's more hard.
The are different topsheets.
