This is my first professional blade. After doing a lot of research online about different blades keeping in mind my budget. I went with Yasaka blade given its high quality at a fair price. I paired it up with Fast-arc G-1 on the forehand and Rakza 7 on the backhand. I am very happy with the performance of the blade. It gave great speed to my forehand topspins keeping high control on counter shots. The push game needs a little adjustment since the blade is fast but manageable The blade has a woody feeling due to its hard outer surface and has a solid sound when hitting the ball. The carbon layer really helps with vibration when hitting at high speed. All in all great blade to practice and develop your game. Overall really great carbon blade at $38 on a discount on tabletennis11.com.

I am an intermediate/advanced amateur player and I play close to the table to a medium distance away from it, with a counter-attacking game consisting of short blocks and counter/topspin on topspin, with fast low loops from close to the table. This blade is excellent for that kind of playing style. I use it with a Donic Bluefire M2 as my forehand and a Stiga Mantra M as my backhand. I used to have the Donic Baum Carrera Senso as my blade before this, and have played with the Waldner Senso Carbon, and this is definitely very different from a Senso Carbon blade while retaining the speed of the technology. The inner-force kind of construction makes sure that you still have a lot of feeling for the ball while providing enough speed to hit fast loops and counters. The dwell time is excellent. Despite the stiff outer layers, you can easily place the ball anywhere you want and be in control of the game. And I can't imagine anything better than this for $36 (that's what I bought this for)! The Baum Carrera was like a stiff fast wall, while this is more flexible and more forgiving. I would recommend a faster blade for players who play away from the table though, and who would want to hit long arching spinny loops. At least, a different combination of rubbers.

The blade was solid, no problems, feel was consistent - and firm. I probably screwed things up by having fast rubbers on this fast blade; combo was a bit too fast for me overall. I think softer rubbers would be a better match. Nice blade though.

I have been using this blade for 3 months now. So far, I think the blade is really a good blade. It has a lot of speed and good conrol in mid range from the table. The control of blade far from the table is something I don't find good. It maybe because of my own skills or change of blade but I am quite sure that its hard to control this blade. The response of the blade on most part is really consistent.
I would rate it 7.5/10 because I think the control is a little less away from table which really restricted my game. Although, for the price, this blade is really good.

The quality of the blade, the power contained within, the balance maintained throughout, they're all nice; because of that, I use this as my main blade, and my game has improved a lot, using it.

Bought this on the special price for $33! Mine is 85.2g anatomic. Thickness measured to be 5.5mm. Factory sealed with wings somewhat sanded. Overall quality is pretty good. I don't like the big emblem on both side of the grip as I could feel it when I play. The anatomic grip shape is nice, similar to the late Butterfly's except the bottom not as wide which I like; however, I wish the grip is wider as I am accustomed to the wide grip of my main blade--Xiom Strato. There is a hard & dark walnut veneer on the outside, followed by a medium hardness veneer, then a thin layer of carbon above the core. YEO7 is similar to Innerforce T5000 but with harder surface.

Due to the thinness, the blade is somewhat flexible and dwelly. You will get more dwell if you've chosen a softer rubber which I recommend due to the hard walnut layer. The playing characteristics are very different than my main blade Xiom Strato due to the very different thickness; YEO7 is very thin & flexible with very hard surface vs Strato & PC, very thick & rigid frame with soft hinoki surface; completely different design philosophy. Guess what, they all produce spinny shots but with very different feel. The YEO7 feels like a stiff wooden blade (due to it's "innerforce" design & hard surface), harder impact feel, but dwelly due to the flexible thin structure. You get a rich feel of the ball and would know which part of the blade touched the ball. It takes some getting use to as my main blade Strato has a very stiff structure but milder impact and larger sweatspot. I rate the speed 9.2 vs Strato 9.5. YEO7 has a trampoline effect vs the Strato's linear feel. Control wise Strato has bigger sweetspot and is more forgiving but you will be trained to hit the sweetspot more accurately due to more feel. YEO7 is better in short game push & touch and flick shots due to more feel & slower, but Strato is the king in looping, driving & smash. Here is my rating: speed=9.2; control=8.5; feel=hard & dwelly; stiffness=6; hardness=9; overall=9.3
