The Victas Spectol S3 has slightly thinner pimples compared to Spectol S1 and S2 rubbers. Thus, this rubber produces a bigger disturbance effect making your shots unpredictable for opponent. The producer claims it has a harder sponge comparing to the Spectol S1, but that it feels just as soft due to the special production treatment. Made in Japan.

Quality

I am happy with choosing this rubber, 1.6 mm. I have blade Donic defplay senso V3. I used S3 rubber on my backhand to play defensive, and cut the balls, both close to the table and long from table. S3 is also good for blocking and you can hit backhand topspin, but not with a lot of spin. S3 rubber delivers good under spin but a bit too fast compared S1, 1.3 mm. The feeling is amazing.

Quality

Similar in performance to TSP Spectol Blue, however the topsheet seems to be a different formula which is less grippy. This only seems to be detrimental when pushing.
It is a shame that it does not come in a 1.8mm thickness, the 2mm seems a bit thick, but it is far too much of a jump to 1.6mm.
