The Carbonado 45 and Carbonado 90 blades have control and wood feel. These two new additions to the Carbonado family are built with the same processes and materials as the original Carbonado 145 and 190, with one difference – the Carbonado 45 and 90 contain 64 gram per m² carbon fiber while the original Carbonado 145 and 190 contain 100 gram per m² carbon fiber. - Carbonado 45 is constructed with carbon layers in a 45 degree angle which is preferable for looping - The 45 degree angle provides torsional bendability which gives the blade more flexibility and increased stiffness - The high trajectory makes it a perfect choice for the offensive player who looks for good speed and stability combined with excellent control - Wide sweet spot - 64 gram carbon fiber per m²

02/04/2024 bad for me Review by DANIEL VAKNIN
Quality
This blade is slower than carbonado 145 because of the change in Carbon ply.
28/09/2023 Advance blade Review by Jorge Francisco Neciosup Castro
Quality
Wonderfull blade with good control. Regular feeling little less than pure wood blade.
This blade is very reactive in power shoots and demands an offensive style of play. It adapts best to mid distance. It can be used for an allround game but again its too fast.

04/04/2023 very versatile blade !! Review by Aditya Nand
Quality
Due to the medium hardness/stiffness and medium high throw angle, this is a very versatile blade. It is definitely a controlled version of butterfly-viscaria as claimed in other reviews, with slightly slower speed and slightly higher throw angle. I have been using this with Fastarc-G1 rubbers on both sides. One of the best aspects is over-the-table backhand loops. Blocking is also good if you are able to maintain the correct angles. Touch/drop shots also stay close to net since the blade is not very fast. My consistency for the ball landing on the table has increased. From mid/far distance, the slightly higher throw angle easily helps in clearing the net, but you feel a little bit power missing for strong forehand loops. But I believe that can be accommodated by upgrading to harder / faster rubber like DHS GoldArc 8 (47.5/50) . Have tried these rubbers as well and both are good on this blade. Tried Tenergy 05 as well but combination had a very high throw angle that could get difficult to manage close to the table. Overall, highly recommended.

14/01/2022 Really a great blade! Review by Peter Kurth
Quality
I am very impressed with this offensive blade: 91gr, Fl handle, Great looking! It has a good amount of control and speed, high arc (easier to return safely with topspin), very stable with and with wood feeling (which I loved). Compared to Viscaria, I feel that Viscaria has a little more speed, but Carbonado has better control, longer dwell time, and is more flexible. Both blades were good for blocking too. I glued my Carbonado 45 with Fastarc G1 on my forehand and C1 on my backhand. I highly recommend this blade! You won´t regret it! ????
21/10/2021 SPEED, FEEL AND CONTROL Review by MICHAEL RHODES
Quality
Been using Carbonado 45 since it was first released in 2016/17. I've also tried the faster versions too, but the 45 for me is the perfect balance of speed, feel and control. Am still using the blade and absolutely love it. I have Dignics 05 on the FH and DNA Platinum on the BH. I cannot fault the setup. Great for long and short games and the sweet spot on the blade is something to behold. Thoroughly recommend.
20/08/2021 Отличное основание! Review by Oleg Demchuk
Quality
22/06/2021 Carbonado blade to have Review by Stephen
Quality
A good feeling blade and it is fast enough when pairing with harder sponge rubbers. Consistency will improve. Helps develop correct movement for powerful play. The quality finish of the blade is a letdown for the price range when compared to other brands like Butterfly and Xiom.
27/02/2021 Good, stiffer than expected. Review by leon siu
Quality
Good, stiffer than expected. However, Hurricane pairs well with it.
15/07/2020 Very well balance off blade Review by Seow Peng Lee
Quality
It has everything from feeling, spin, speed, and power. Lifting downspin is better than Viscaria but a little bit behind Viscaria on the backhand.
14/02/2020 It might not fit in my style. Review by Kiattisak Ngiamsoongnirn
Quality
Its feeling is quite stiff for me. I like a softer one. It sounds just "pork pork". For me, it is quite difficult to make a quick topspin for short shots, over and near the table. For long shots, it is good and gives a beautiful curve. Anyway, I've compared it with the blade that I regularly use and get used to it. And, moreover, my skill is just at a medium level. I bought this blade just because world-class players are using this one.
20/03/2019 Nice feel when in play Review by Carl Johnson
Quality
I like this blade a lot. It is light powerful and still has
good feel and control. The first one I bought, after
1 week, the handle sides just fell off so re-stuck them.
Using 2 part resin. It's great now. I just bought
another one, but the handle is still okay.
I recommend this blade for controlled attacking and
blocking.
31/07/2018 Offensive blade with good touch Review by William Weinstock

This blade is an offensive blade with good touch and control. Attention to the actual weight that is variable approx. between 89 and 82 gr.
27/03/2018 Very good offensive blade. Review by Will Weinstock

Offensive blade with very good control for any shot. The blade weight is a variable that require attention.
21/03/2018 Exceptional blade from Stiga ! Review by Oleg
Quality
I own several blades from Stiga. This one stands out by its quality, which we usually see in Butterfly products. Seem like Stiga got it right this time! This blade is very well made; handle is comfortable; overall blade feeling is very close to all-wood ones. A very fast blade, I believe OFF+ would be the right rating. I use Tenergy (05/05FX); think medium-soft rubbers would be more controllable combination, like Rakza 7/soft.
21/02/2018 Excellent OFF blade Review by Yi Zhang
Quality
It's an excellent blade with everything you can expect from a carbon blade. Large sweet spot, good speed, good feeling, stable when blocking and looping. The weight is on the lighter side as well.
There really is no negative I can think of. However, I prefer Nittaku Violin Carbon over this blade. Violin Carbon just has a little bit more feeling.
I use H3 Neo on forehand and Rakza 7 on backhand. Wonderful combination.

La pallina si sente bene. Ottima per il top spin. Veloce, rumore metallico
14/11/2017 Better blade Review by IrwinR
Quality
I own several blades from BTB, Darker 9mm 1ply and 7P2A, Viscaria, Donic Waldner, AVX, Stiga All carbon, Stiga Infinity and others. I find this blade to have this nice feel and touch (woody with a touch of carbon), good for close and mid distance, fast enough to win points (depending on rubber used), lots of control. Over all, depending on your skills and technique, it is a very good blade and Stiga quality.
16/10/2017 Very good lots of sweet spots Review by Hooshang Ayoubloo
Quality
This is a great Blade with lots of sweet spots ,great control and in fact you can do anything you want with this blade.Pair with R42 or R47 FH and Maxxx-P BH then you rock like Bruce Lee.
I will go with any Medium Or soft rubber , Boost TC too is ok with this.
16/01/2017 O u t s t a n d i n g Review by MICHAEL RHODES
Quality
This blade is simply awesome. I use Tenergy 05 on the Fh and Rakza 7 Soft 2.1 on the backhand. The blade has a huge sweet spot and once you adjust to the fast speed of the blade it is fantastic. It took a while to adjust to the short game but now I feel I have great control and I can honestly say it is the best blade I have ever used. In general if your skills are improving, you need equipment to compliment that and I thoroughly recommend this blade. Compared to the 145 the speed is very similar but I felt this blade has slightly more control.
