Rubber type	:	short pips

The Gepard is a fast and easy to control pimple-out rubber with high deception but low spin values. It has been invented for deadly counter-attacks, active and passive block balls, and powerful shots. Regarding the length of the (wide) pimples, the Gepard is a semi-long pimple out rubber, but the pimples are so inelastic that the Gepard plays totally like a short pimple out rubber. The pimple tops of the Gepard have very high friction, but the rubber compound includes polymers that generally are used for Anti rubbers. So the deception does not come from the wobbling effect of the pimples like usual. They will not wobble at all, even if you hit the ball hard. The deception is created because you can play the balls with or without spin, sometimes even with a little backspin, which makes it very difficult for the enemy to estimate the (always very flat) ball trajectory. The pimples of the Gepard are very durable, and the weight of this rubber is far below average. The Gepard is also our first rubber, which is available in red and black and in blue color.

This pip acts like short pip with great disruption. You can drive, punch, chopblock, block, chop, and even loop. This pip makes your opponents stay more focus.

Not as fast or flat as Keiler II, but flatter than Spectol and nastier blocks. Some surface grip means better serving and pushing. I transitioned to this from Spectol before going with Keiler II, it’s a good all around short to medium pips.

I use this rubber on my traditional CPen. It‘s excellent for blocking and smashing. Very fast and good control.

Very fast rubber, dangerous for the rival.
Insensitive to spin.
Is it easy to handle? It depends on your level, if you are at a low level and you intend to get easy points you will get them only by passing balls.
If you have a high level I don't think it's for you, the behavior of this rubber has many similarities with an antitop, they are much faster on the surface and sponge, so by blocking hard topspins, or trying pseudo topspins you will get floating balls that will come out of the table.

Spinlord Gepard lives up to the ideal of a medium pip rubber; Gepard hits like a short pip on conventional counter-drive strokes but also behaves like a long pip with certain techniques, reserving the spin on some shots or giving a dead ball on punching forward shots. Blocking and punch blocking seems to be this rubber's strength. Pushes against chop seem to be dead-ish leading to a lot of easy set-ups. This rubber is ideal for long pip attacking players, but the much faster rubber/sponge combo takes practice to learn the control. I'd like to see Spinlord come out with a slower, non-glue effect, tension sponge. I believe a non-glue effect sponge would be much easier to control. I hope Spinlord reads reviews or TT11 can pass on this request/idea. Table tennis for all!
