It's another hybrid rubber in the likes of Andro C53, Stiga DNA Dragon Grip, Tibhar Hybrid K3, Dignics 09c, etc, where the top sheet is slightly sticky with a bouncy sponge. It's not as sticky as DHS Hurricane Neo. I would rate the stickiness in the range of 3 - 4, out of 10 while comparing it with Hurricane Neo. I found it to be more of a tensor rubber than a sticky rubber. The speed almost matches any good modern tensor rubber.
The speed and spin combination with low arc trajectory is very good. You will find opponents struggling to block a full-arm-swing topspin during the practice rallies / games, resulting in outright points while opening a backspin / chop. Even the tournament-level advanced players and coaches gave feedback that topspin is good and difficult to block. Forehand flicks and down-the-line fast serves are easy compared to Hurricane Neo.
Cons:
The biggest drawback is the DURABILITY. This is the main reason for this lower rating. Within a month with weekly usage of around ~8 - 10hrs, the rubber lost its tackiness and grip. I clean the rubber after each practice session with cleaners and even clean it in between the practice session with my palm and steam from mouth. But still after good care also the rubber lost it's topsheet shine around the sweet-spot area.
Unless you can afford to change rubber every month or are a professional player looking for performance over anything else, then stay away from this rubber.
I'm switching back to hurricane with booster. I'm ready to let go of the extra speed, but will try to overcome the performance with more spin from the hurricane's super tackiness. I prefer durable and affordable rubbers. The hurricane neo retains its property even after 6 months if you take good care of the rubber. - 28/11/2023 Great FW rubber Review by milelj
