The 'chain' works well where the table and net are permanently set up. But when you have to remove the net regularly, the chain does not stay in place which means you have to adjust the net every time you set it up. This is a PITA for club use. The clips are great, with really firm holding strength - enough to keep two table halves connected. The net itself is excellent quality and consistency. Adjustment is simple and effective and provides enough tension to reduce the net height variance from sides to middle, to almost nothing (maybe 1mm). But ...Quality
The 'chain' does not stay in place so every time you remove the net and put it back on, you effectively start from scratch. This is a pain for club use where we pack the tables away after every session. I can see the chains breaking fairly quickly too. Bought 6 set of Donic Net Clips for my club for the last 2 years. At first it was very good but over time, it start to have problems. So far we have problems with the pins that keep the spring in place coming loose. Broken strings and chains. Overall, I think this net is average.Quality - 01/08/2018 HIGH QUALITY Review by ROB

This net clip has to be one of the best purchases I made from tabletennis11.com. The quality of the net is great, very sturdy, quite technical(easy to maintain at competition level play standards) and the net has held on to its grit even after a month's use.
