The TSP Spectol Red and Spectol Blue are faster, more deceptive versions of the classic Spectol Out, which one the most well-known pips-out rubber to date and has been used by many championship winners. What sets them apart is the treatment technology of the sponge, which gives them the boosted effect built-in. The result is the catapult effect, better spin, and greater speed overall. The Spectol Blue is the harder of the two, great for fast forehand play and powerful moves.

I have used may short pips (Royal, Blowfish Plus, Spinpips, Spectol Red, Killer Pro, Moristo, etc). Spectol Blue is not the fastest and it's not the spiniest. It has superb control and if you put the effort/muscle it could be very fast. Not sensitive to spin, it's super easy to block and to attach through chop balls. The sponge is firm (not too soft as Spectol Red). To me, this rubber is better than Moristo.
