These are not typical long pips. The pips are quite stiff. I use PH effectively on my forehand. I don't like these pips with the sponge, but can be really fun in the ox version. I think PH works best if your blade is a little bit fast. Since the rubber itself is pretty slow, you probably don't want an extremely slow blade. Once you get used to it, PH has excellent control. Plays a little bit like medium pips, but slightly more deceptive. Combined with a smooth rubber, the combination really bothers lower level players, although your better competition will figure out how to play against it pretty quickly.

This is the rubber for you, but warning... It needs lots of practice... Not like anti, you can do many variations over the table and set up a forehand attack for yourself, most of my friends thought it is a short or medium pips... For chopping away, get other tsp long pimples..
