The Ma Lin Extra Special is a well constructed offensive blade. This special combination of all wood was made to emphasize speed and power. The outer play brings it a harder touch and the inner plies help to bring out its speed and power. Offensive strokes at most distances can be performed well.

Quality

Good speed for an all-wood blade, maybe a little slow for those who have used carbon blades. Good feeling and nice for blocking and looping, and RPB. A little heavy (mine came in around 90g), but doesn’t take long to get used to and helps make some lighting-fast smashes. Great value for a quality product.
