Continuing its reputation of producing some of the highest quality rubbers in the world, Xiom has introduced OMEGA VII, which has been presented as a further improved version of the OMEGA series. This iteration of OMEGA has become noticeably faster, keeping the same potential spin for topspin strokes as OMEGA V. OMEGA VII TOUR, is the hardest version of the series. VII Tour offers extreme levels of spin, a direct throw angle, and great speed making this a very powerful rubber. The glue effect feeling and sound is extremely noticeable and aids in yielding powerful counterloops with decent control.

This rubber is a little bit heavy, but speed and spin are outstanding. Furthermore, this rubber is not suitable for those who are beginners or middle level.

Consistent, powerful, spinny. On the backhand, this rubber really shines with short strokes and a consistent level of feel and control despite being quite fast. After trying most of the omega line, the Omega 7 tour is just a cut above the rest as far as backhand rubbers go.

Definitely a rubber that suits the new trend of table tennis….the spin created on the current ball types is really good, it is a fast rubber as well but due to the sponge hardness controlling close to the net is not that difficult. It’s great for attackers but won’t recommend for players not technically sound as yet.

Скорость, вращение и контроль на высоте. Играть накладкой комфортно даже на моём любительском уровне. Использую на быстром средне-жёстком основании Koki Niva (с обеих сторон). В сумме получается очень мощный и в то же время хорошо контролируемый комплект. Из-за высокой скорости отскока мяча дуга в среднем получается довольно низкой, хотя при этом мячу может быть придано очень сильное верхнее или боковое вращение и точность попадания (контроль) находится на хорошем уровне. Сильную подрезку, особенно в ближней зоне, как любой быстрой накладкой выполнить довольно сложно. Единственный, но весомый недостаток - это и есть вес. Красная и чёрная толщиной 2,0 мм, вырезанные под стандартное основание, соответственно весят 47 и 50 гр. Хотя, с другой стороны, благодаря высокой плотности (твёрдости) губки, ракетка в целом обладает наиболее линейными характеристиками, хорошем "чувством мяча" и вращабельностью. Цена накладки, конечно, не маленькая, но я покупал со скидкой в начале продаж.
