I installed this Omega V Europe on the backhand, and I had Xiom Europe before ; I find this rubber performed better than the Xiom Europe, although not by much but as I ordered Max with rubber and I find the returning spin is more powerful than the Xiom Europe, and as for control, I find it quite satisfy with it. I am very happy with this purchase

Just put this on an Xiom Extreme S (all wood) 2 weeks ago.
I LIKE it, but it's less forgiving than the Vega Euro.
It's faster and you can get more bite, but you have to put more into your shot to get the benefit of the harder sponge.
Blocking feels hotter, but I'm putting more in the net.
I'm just hitting the top of the net more on shots and blocks, so I'm still tuning.

I've used this rubber on a backhand in 2.0 sponge thickness. Great control and good speed. The only thing that I didn't like is the durability of the topsheet.

I am using max on my forehand. I don't find it difficult when playing well, to slow topspin, drive or smash. It is not overly reactive to incoming spin. When I used 2mm it was easy to control but no noticeable catapult effect. With either thickness, I doubt if this rubber is great for the 3rd ball attack winner, other than a smash. I tried Euro 7 max. I had far less control, I couldn't lift a low ball away from the table and smashing was too hit and miss.

My blade is a Timo Boll ALC and I used to use Tenergy rubbers, however I had problems controlling serves with a lot of spin. Reading reviews of other rubbers at Table Tennis 11, I take the risk of trying other rubbers. For suggestions of reviews, I selected Xiom Omega V Europe for forehand and Yasaka Rakza 7 for backhand, however these rubber were adjusted better in the opposite way, Xiom Omega V Europe for backhand and Yasaka Rakza for Forehand. Currently, I am very satisfied with the combination I have, Xiom Europe V is a fast rubber with excellent control.

Rather good rubber, reasonably fast, excellent spin, control. Rather insensitive to incoming spin. A bit faster than the Omega IV Euro. Used on a backhand of Butterfly Maze (carbon) and later on Tibhar Samsonov Force Pro Black Edition. Unfortunately, I didn't get used to its high throw angle, and my backhand spins were flying over the table too frequently. Maybe for a higher level player it would be a good fit, but not for me, so I'm sticking to the Omega IV Euro on the backhand.

Great BH rubber. I could see it as a FH rubber on a fast blade as well. Control is great. Blocking, pushing, topspin and serving are all easy. My favorite attribute is the feeling of the ball sinking into the rubber before unleashing a heavy topspin drive.

Mizuno Wave Drive 8 are great shoes. They are soft inside and keep your foot stable when you're playing.

A medium soft rubber, very consistent. A perfect option for all around players, that likes to generate good spin and atack with speed, but still block next to the table, using the opponent atack to place back the ball really fast. Its not very sensitive for spin, so it helps a lot to receive serves. I use it in FH with a DHS PG7 blade and it works well, but I think it can be used in BH to.

If you read my previous reviews on Xiom rubbers, you realize we've been trying them intensively these last 2 years.

Omega V is a high-end, pro rubber... Has a lot of power, spin and incredible control. Several players of our national team have moved from Tenergy to these rubbers recently, I've personally upgraded from Xiom Vega Pro to this one.

Omega V Pro has more arc than Omega Pro and Asia. Same control and power and spin.

It is really the bread and butter of Xiom. A reliable rubber that does everything really well. It has a nice arc with good catapult, very good spin and speed. It is not the best rubber close to the table because it bounces a bit too much for my taste. The fact is that despite my belief that there are better options out there (not many), you cannot go wrong with Omega V Euro.

It has very good spin. Not as fast as Nittaku Fastarc S1. Heavier than Nittaku Fastarc S1. All in all it's good. If it would be a little bit livelier and faster, then it would be perfect.

Tried it on the FH side of my Vega Tour blade. Loops okay, plenty of speed on my drives, but I'm still looking for a bit more performance. I think it will be a pretty good replacement Rubber for my BH when my last sheet of Adidas P7 wears out.

Was playing Omega IV Elite on my FH, but felt I needed something with a little more pop. Tried flipping my racket and playing my BH rubber ( AdidasP7) on my FH, and was pleased with the result. Only problem is that Adidas no longer makes TT equipment. A study of specs showed Omega V Europe to be pretty close to P7, so I bought two sheets. I'm pleased with it on my FH, it loops well, has plenty of speed, spin, and control, and when my P7 wears out, I will use it on my BH as well.

Not as bouncy as omega v pro, but the grip is fantastic. Looping with this is good. You can do slow spinny or counterloops easily. I would use it more on my bh, but also serves as a FH rubber to develop strokes. Very forgiving rubber.

This rubber is marvelous for looping with the new plastic balls. Speed 9/10 , Spin 10/10 and Control 10/10. If you need more speed and can compromise a bit on control, go for Omega V Pro, else this is the rubber.

Кто бы мог подумать, что после великолепной веги-европа может быть что-то еще более... Но оказалось, что может и это - омега 5 - европа. Причем контрольная игра возможна из всех зон от ближней до дальней. Никаких осторожных движений! Короткое интенсивное касание и остальное ваша резина доделает. Спасибо ТТ11 за четкую работу!

This rubber works wonders. You can play every shot whether loop, brush, counter loop, block or chop.. Everything can be done with rubber. Sometimes even myself being confused, how am I did that. But, the only but... one has to be habituated to play with Xiom rubbers. If you already liked to play with Vegas, Omega IVs earlier then you should look back or being confused. Go for it...
