FUGA is a special blade for aggressive players whose strategy is close-to-table topspin of Chinese style. Everything of FUGA is optimized for aiming the rising of ball from bounce. Its thickness of 5.6 mm provides sufficient deformation for the stability of aggressive play. Hard wood was selected as the material of top layer for sharp and compact feel. But, the top layer is thin, so its hardness doesn’t disturb the overall flexibility and stability of FUGA. Every technique of table tennis is so easy with FUGA. 03/07/2023 Good off- all wood blade Review by Clive Goodwin
Quality
Good off- all wood blade. Stiffer than my Avalox P500 even though I believe it has similar wood composition.
The 2 outer plies are thicker than my Axalox P500 and the central ply is thinner..
31/08/2022 Unbelievable Hidden Gem Review by Debashish Mitra
Quality
This blade is a hidden gem and a must try for those who have the Chinese style of game (full body power loops and fast close to the table attacks). I have hundreds of blades and this is one of my best blades. Amazing power, control, spin and speed when paired with hard Chinese rubbers on the FH and a fast rubber on the BH. Opponents are left stunned at the amount of power (spin and speed and penetrating momentum) in my FH power loops - they don't even think of moving as the ball is just not visible after hitting the table (metaphorically). The handle is flat and on the thinner side and suits me well. Very good quality blade. A power loop monster.
01/06/2021 OFF-, very lightweight Review by M Guglielmetti
Quality
Mine weighed 81g, not bad, but with 2 h8 rubbers it was very light at 177g; This reduced reactivity/power although logically it served to play near the table and facilitate the backhand flip, but I needed something more powerful so I put Rakza Z on the back (2 grams heavier than the h8, and more reactive) and h3 pro turbo orange in the drive (10 grams heavier than h8) and the paddle was 190 grams. : Already at that weight it became offensive enough and I reveal its potentiality: I think it is recommended as a wood both for beginners and for intermediate or advanced players who want a lot of control and ease to hit thanks to its flexibility. The handle is comfortable.
21/05/2021 good near the table, light weight, flexibility Review by Marcos GG
Quality
Nice blade for playing fast, near the table, mine weights 81gr, keep in mind you can only take it to 190gr or so, if heavier, it would be unbalanced.
Recommended for kids or for players with the preeminence of backhand top, close to the table, fast game.
20/09/2018 Very light weight, nice finish Review by Yi Zhang

The description on the blade is very accurate. Xiom Fuga is a light weight flexible blade with long dwell time, suited for a close-to-table aggressive topspin style. Mine is only 79g, which is super light. I use H3 on FH and Bluefire M2 on BH. I will compare Fuga to Stiga Infinity, since they are both 5 ply.
Fuga is a true OFF- blade. It is noticeably slower than Infinity, but it's excellent control and spin makes up for the lack of speed. It's very thin (only about 5.5mm) and flexible. This creates great dwell time and spin potential, making Fuga great for looping. You can easily place the ball anywhere on the table, during short game and when attacking. Fuga has better feeling and control than Infinity.
Fuga has a few shortcomings as well. It's not good for blocking, because of it's flexible nature. It also has a low throw angle. The low throw angle makes Fuga deadly close to the table. Opponents will have a hard time defending against the spinny linear shots. However, if you are more than a few feet away from the table, the low throw angle will cause you some trouble.
For me, Fuga provides enough feeling, control, and spin potential on FH, but my BH really suffers. I mainly use my BH for blocks, flicks, and loops. Because Fuga is not good for blocking and has a low throw angle, many of my BH shots lands in the net. And because my BH is naturally weaker than my FH, Fuga's low speed makes my BH attacks much less threatening. I still prefer a thicker stiffer blade like Stiga Infinity over Fuga.
I would recommend Fuga for FH dominant players who stay close to the table. If you like to attack from both wings, then Fuga is not the best choice.

30/06/2015 A great blade for its many Review by Ilia
Quality
Has just migrated from a 5 ply carbon blade to this one. Got more spin and control, I like it very much. I placed a Vega China on my forehand, with proper swing one can unleash a demon -- the speed is more than enough, and the spin is insane.
30/04/2015 Fantastic blade Review by Mohd Redhuan Md Jamil
Quality
The blade is hard but very2 flexy. Flick is easy and i hv close more angle to land the ball on the table. Massive topspin and heavy chop. Light blade, mine is 80g, approx. best for close to table play.

Speed 7/10
Hardness 7/10
Flex 8/10
Control 10/10
