I'm playing this in 1.3 thickness defensive style on the backhand. I am a modern defensive player and I have been playing with long pimples for so many years, changing to short pimple was challenging ..but now I think I am good at it..the most important part of Chopping with Short pips is that I can vary the spin at my will, heavy underspin to no spin at all in my chops and opponents can't see it. Spectol does the same, but u need to do a side spin chop when u contact the ball, even if it is a fast or slow or spinny loop, side spin action will give the maximum control, and spin in chop, it will go net level, this rubber is used by Hou Yingchao, rubber is really good. I use it in 1.3 mm good for defense and attack too. Thanks, TT11, for this .☺️Quality
