The sponge works great for cleaning rubbers.
The only annoyance is the protruding tag getting in the way when cleaning.
I used a pair of scissors to cut it off. Works much better after that.
Highly recommend for its cost to efficacy ratio.

I only bought this sponge because it was on sale. But after using it, I highly recommand it to anyone. The two different sponge surfaces (rough and smooth) really helps. I mostly use the smooth side to clean fine powder (from new balls) off the rubber.
Wether you use water or liquid cleaner in conjunction with this sponge, you'll be impressed with the results.
