The long-awaited new version of the popular table tennis blade Energy Wood WRB. An offensive, lightweight 5-ply blade with improved balance – ideal for all-round players. The thicker core veneer not only provides more power and speed, but it’s also adapted to the ABS ball. The handle, metal lens, and the classic STIGA base lens all have a new, exclusive design. However, just like in the original version, it features the WRB system for faster returns, more power, and extra sensitivity – attributes that are well-appreciated by the all-round player.

Quality

The EW V2 is a decent ALL+ (ALL++?) blade of high quality by Stiga. The wings are (like all Stiga blades) sharp and need some sanding. The handle could be a bit thicker/wider at the top (neck), but overall the handle feels very nice. Personally not a fan of the metal insert, but it doesn't bother me much while playing.
Pair it with Rakza 7 and you have great control and stability. Or go with fast rubbers to have more spin-attack-oriented gameplay, while still maintaining a high level of control. Avoid tacky rubbers, as the combo will be way too slow.
Despite being a nice blade, it is rather expensive for an all-wood ALL+ blade, If the price is of concern, go with Yasaka Sweden Extra. Half the price and good quality.
