The Carbonado 45 and Carbonado 90 blades have control and wood feel. These two new additions to the Carbonado family are built with the same processes and materials as the original Carbonado 145 and 190, with one difference – the Carbonado 45 and 90 contain 64 gram per m² carbon fiber while the original Carbonado 145 and 190 contain 100 gram per m² carbon fiber. - Carbonado 90 is constructed with carbon layers in a 90 degree angle which is preferable for driving - 90 degree angle provides flexural bendability which gives the blade a stiff feel with great stability and high speed - A perfect choice for the offensive player who looks for good speed and stability combined with excellent control - Wide sweet spot - 64 gram carbon fiber per m²

04/09/2023 Exelent blade for attacking player Review by Aleksandar Pervan

Bought this blade as a back up for my 245, not that fast but well worth it, using black Donic Z1 Turbo
21/09/2021 A masterpiece from Stiga Review by Paul
Quality
A superb blade offering a solid touch and minimal vibration, (almost clipper-like), with outstanding speed and control. I initially paired with Tenergy 80 2.1mm on both sides - an excellent combination for offensive play close or mid-distance. I also tried Yasaka Razka X 2.0mm on both sides which to my surprise was even better, offering additional control without any detectable loss of speed or spin. So impressed I purchased a spare one.
06/10/2020 Good paddle Review by Randall Brown

I own the Stiga Allround Classic, Stiga Offensive, and Stiga Defensive blades with various rubbers. Think I like this paddle the best overall, the search has ended.
I'm a beginner-intermediate player. I also like the Anatomic handle, most players seem to prefer the flared.

I use Tenergy 05 hard on forehand and 64 on the backhand. I have played for over 3 months now. Very good for 40+ plastic balls. Good speed but controllable. Loops are very pinny. It feels like an all-wood blade but the carbon power will kick in when adding force to the strokes. Before purchasing this blade, I have used the Butterfly Viscaria for 6 months but now I found better feeling and better control with the Carbonado 90.

This is my second Carbonado 90 blade; the previous one was given to my coach who was fallen in love with this blade :) Discount price was decisive factor to choose between Carbonado 45 (just to try a bit different wood) and 90.

Both blades demonstrates similar behavior; first one was about 90 g and second one 87 g (I requested a blade within rnage of 86 g... 90 g), first one feels just a bit (or I would say less than 'a bit') more powerful, but general feeling is the same. I have find it ideally suited for close to the table style and my coach confirmed it (a girl, former player of Junior national team). The blade paired with thick (1.8-2.0 mm) short pimples on BH (Andro Blowfish, Nittaku Moristo SP, Nittaku Beautry) and Donic Acuda S2, S1 Turbo, and Barracuda on FH allows you to play close to the table and do exactly what you want. Good combination with short pimples; nearly linear behavior with inverted rubbers (at least with the ones above mentioned). Very good touch (like a pure wood, never meet this feeling with other carbon blades), no problem with short game, pushing, blocking, looping. Dwell time is what I need - ball leaves the racket not too early, not too late; you do not need to stroke very hard to give enough speed to the ball; on the other hand, one can feel some potential to produce more powerful strokes.

When pairing with two inverted rubbers (Acuda S1,2,3 and Baracuda from Donic), could be definitely used to play both clowe to the table and at mid distance.

23/07/2018 Very good blade Review by Yi Zhang

Very direct feeling and good control. I use H3 on FH and Vega Pro on BH. It's similar to Carbonado 45, but more direct. I like the speed/control ratio of this blade. Highly recommend if you want a direct feeling blade with good control.
