The spin Lord Ultra Balsa is now available as new fifth version. High quality carbon replaces the wooden veneers and makes the construction very stable. The outer veneers are made from Koto in natural colour. The centre ply is made of 6 mm thick balsa. The Ultra Balsa V is a fast offensive blade with good control values whereas carbon enlarges the sweet spot of the blade. SPINLORD Ultra Balsa produces a bright and very loud sound, which acoustically provides feedback about ball meeting point. The weight of the blade is still at about 72 g, though there are hardly any heavier pieces in this latest version. SPINLORD Ultra Balsa is recommended in combination with soft rubbers. It would become head heavy with harder rubbers.

Fast blade with good control. Ideal for short pimples, i use it with spinlord waran. Tenergy 05fx on another side is excellent suit to.
This blade forgives technology flaws.
Comfortable handle.

Very good blade for shot pimple play. Very fast, but good control as well.
Thickness is almost as if it is a non-balsa blade, which is nice.

Sweet point is not huge and visual look and feel of the blade could be nicer.

Very good blade for it's price...very fast blade with control. if you pair it with both pips rubber you should use a weigh balancer (its a must)so that the head is a little bit heavy. if you dont it will play wild especially on the short game.

Excellent feel. Soft/even feel throughout the blade, good touch/speed at the table and confident power away from table. Have tried with LP, SP and Inverted, and I think the blade is appropriate with each general type of rubber, at least with the ones I've tried. Excellent quality by Spinlord, excellent price and service at tabletennis11!
