08/02/2024 Excellent value for the price Review by Henrique Fonseca
Quality
This really feels like a Nittaku blade. The quality is exceptional for the price. It is not meant to be a super fast blade and it's also not the lightest, but I think it's well balanced for both all-around style and offensive, depending on your choice of rubbers. I personally think harder rubbers match very well with this blade. You can get fast, controlled shots while preserving the amazing feel that only an all wood blade like this can offer. It is super flexible.

My first Nittaku. Having DHS Wang Hao, Yasaka MEO, Xiom Aria and Fuga, here the quality of the workmanship is taken to another level... Great control, more than enough speed and despite being less flexy than all the above blades very efficient top pins and way better blocks... Simply Amazing!!!
07/09/2022 From intermediate to professional it will deliver. Review by Julius Victorino
Quality
A lovely crafted blade by Nittaku, lovely finish on the handle which is slim and sanded down, likewise with the wings which are smooth to the touch. My previous 5-ply blade (DAWEI R5) was too slow and difficult to produce loops or ‘cloudwalk’ with. Between YEO or Nittaku Latika, I chose Latika for its softer feeling. Feels perfect with Fastarc C-1 as a RPB rubber. Backhand looping and blocking are precise and weight is heavier which allows for more power to be imparted into my shots. As for forehand, using a H 8-80 has made my shots extremely sharp and deadly when executed in a control manner . Note that due to the slim handle, the bat will be head heavy so weight balance should be considered.

Overall:

Is it useful? - YES

Is it worth it? - YES (At ¥5000 or £30 it’s a fine Japanese blade)

Will I keep it? - YES (I will be sticking with Nittaku now)
