It’s fast but not too fast. I love the feeling that transmits when the paddle makes contact with the ball. The handle is a good size for me, and as a tall guy with large hands, I felt like this handle was neither blocky, like the large, nor too small like the normal blade. I’m looking forward to using this blade for the foreseeable future!

I really like this handle. I also have a regular FL and LG versions. All three feel slightly different. Many Acoustic fans don't like the regular FL handle which is rather thin, and go for a LG FL which is quite thick and chunky. This one sits right in between. The SG is perfect for me and I don't have big hands.

As for the blade in general, it's a classic one, an old venerable design, and there's a ton of info on the net. You'll read a lot of praise and it's not hype, it's all true. One of the very few blades which do not trade the speed for control. There's both. But choose a heavier one (90g min) if you don't play close to the table. An 80g, 85g and 90g Acoustic would feel quite different. A 90g is a real weapon for a controlled attacking player. Speed wise it will be on par with many carbon blades and still it will have more dwell time, feel and control.

The thickness of the handle at the neck feels similar to my butterfly PF ZLC but the flare at the end is smaller. I wish the flare at the end is 1mm wider. The finish is superlative. High dwell good feeling blade.

Acoustic is well-known and admirable blade, not much need to say, Probably best off/off- blade. Finish is great, I usually sand blade handles, for this one not necessary.

Handle is what I expected, very similar to dhs long 3 and just a little bit thicker than boll alc, just great.

I also want to mention tabletennis11.com's lacquering service, just perfect. It's barely noticeable but strong enough to prevent splintering. I've changed some rubbers, no problem at all.

I alternate between this and a Violin for training.
The handle size for the Acoustic SG is perfect.

I will gladly buy exactly the same in the future if I need it.
Is a bit fast during the initial play.

I haven't found the ultimate rubber combo for this blade yet but it's a great blade. I think of Mima Ito when I think of this blade. Those blazing fast punch shots are what you get. I still prefer its sister blade, the Violin with Fastarc G-1, on both sides. I plan on ordering some Fastarc for the Acoustic to try soon.

Many glamorous reviews have been written about this blade. All the hype is true! The new SG handle (FL) is very comfortable, possibly the best handle out of 20 wood blades I have tried. The blade holds the ball for a long time making it a looper's dream. At the same time, the blade is very versatile and will work for many different playing styles. The one I got is 82 g. and is very well balanced and not head heavy like many other lightweight blades. This is an expensive blade but the TT11 discount makes it a bargain.

I have been a user of Acoustic LG without carbon for about a year, but the SG handle surpasses all the Acoustic versions in grip (it is similar to the Viscaria handle), having tried the small Asian handle, and the LG, this is the best. I even feel it vibrating prettier, better than the LG. I love all the versions but this one is better for me: I feel that I hit the tops more comfortable thanks to its flexibility and that I have more information in hand for any shot.
I think there is no better carbonless wood offensive blade in the world.
