As a developing Chinese penhold player, I use this rubber on my forehand for a game based on controlled spinny loops. Very easy to generate spin, however this rubber requires very active weight transfer to produce sufficient speed, so it is not suitable for a lazy player. This rubber requires a protective sheet and regular cleaning to preserve tackiness, otherwise tackiness wears off quickly. Without tackiness, this is a hard-to-control and very slow rubber.

Bought this rubber for a friend whose forehand always went long with rubbers with any catapult at all, and this works perfectly for him. The Geospin has a dense, medium-soft sponge with no real propulsion, requiring input on every shot to stay active. This rubber is capable of soaking up speed and spin to drop blocks incredibly short because of its dead sponge. However, the topsheet has great grip and is fairly elastic, making full power shots fly low and with plenty of spin. Geospin is a fantastic beginner rubber, training rubber, or rubber for someone who likes to propel the ball forward with a more flat motion than a Chinese rubber would allow.

I tried this rubber as a tt friend said it was great and I should try..
I did not like it at all. To me, it felt dead and just hard work to do anything fun or fast. Could just be bad technique on my part.
I'm now using Xiom Vega Euro DF and Andro Rasanter which I am very happy with. Great control, touch, and plenty speed and spin for me.

Good rubber, fairly springy and standard amount of control.

Not crazy fast, not crazy controlled - just somewhere in the middle.

Good all round rubber - especially for the price.
