The J.O. Waldner Gold Edition is a blade dedicated to the most famous and legendary table tennis player of all times and in particular, to the 30th anniversary of his Olympic victory in 1992. The blade has the popular 5+2 construction: five wooden layers and 2 layers of carbon. Etalyra carbon is located around the core ply of the blade, giving it additional power and incredible feeling. The handle of this blade is decorated in the Swedish national colors: light blue and gold yellow. Although Jan-Ove does not participate in competitions, he still picks up the racket to play from time to time. His current setup is the Gold Edition blade combined with Bluestorm rubbers. Made in KOREA.

Купил данное основание просто, как новинку от компании Donic.
Игра у стола, подрезка, скидка, банан – всё хорошо.
В короткой игре понравилось, начинаем с тренером топить топс на топс, пошла игра во второй зоне, а оно не валится ни второй, ни даже в третьей зоне.
Дури зашито нормально в нём. Не супер zlc конечно, но Аполония в третьей зоне у меня начинала заваливаться ,а Gold – нет.
Задержка мяча примерно как у Франциски и Аполонии, но чуть быстрее.
Контроль прекрасный; игра по месту замечательная.
В целом очень доволен доской. Непонятно почему сделано в Корее, но по качеству исполнения все супер: шпон прекрасно отполирован и покрыт тоненьким слоем лака, ручка удобная.
Доска не глухая, звонкая.
Единственное, что они набухали – это золотистой никчемной краски в виде изображения Валднера, но это 3 мин работы мелкой шкуркой.
В целом я ставлю 5 из 5, основа реально хорошая, плотная, звонкая, скоростная, при этом с отличным контролем.
Своих денег стоит однозначно.

My version weights 91gr. It has a stiff feeling at low and medium speed, but because the blade size is larger, it can generate a lot o spin if you hit with the tip of the blade.
It has green ALC layers with inner construction and it doesn’t have a speed limit: the faster you swing the faster the ball goes, and the blade becomes more flexible so the spin also increases. The handle is a bit too narrow and round for my liking, I would prefer it to be a bit wider and thinner
But overall I like the blade and I recommend it. The blade is stable, easy to play with and surprisingly fast and stiff so is good for smashes also.
The feeling I would say is more of the super ZLC blades than ALC, but it is also more flexible because of the inner construction.
It is a good hybrid between super ZLC and classic ALC blades.

stable, fast, controllable, great craftmanship (made in Korea), with a reasonable price. good job Donic.
For the blade, the blade head is slightly larger than normal butterflyblade, so better not to choose heavy rubbers both side.
