BlueGrip is a hybrid rubber that combines a more tacky, Chinese style topsheet with a powerful European, tensioned sponge. The somewhat tacky topsheet is still very elastic, much more so than most Chinese topsheets. This allows for an increase in power on properly executed strokes. This rubber features very high levels of friction granting extreme spin in all situations. Its combination of catapult and high spin helps alleviate the counter looping difficulties often encountered when using traditional Chinese rubbers. Bluegrip R1 has a slightly softer feel than the V1 which increases its spin generation.

Like the combination of tacky top sheet with catapult sponge which produces tons of spin and speed while maintaining superb control. The more power you put in the more spin and speed while maintaining a low trajectory is achieved. Superb service from Tabletennis11.

This is my rubber for 1 side of my blade and the other side is a long pip. Donic description is very true, it is very spinny for the 40+ ball. Well satisfied!
I thought Turbo Nittaku blue is great but this is greater because it has a lightweight.

The top sheet is reasonably sticky, but the sponge is way too soft for my style. I was planning to use this rubber for my backhand, but had to change the plan to use it for my forehand instead.
