The Kamikaze, slightly firmer than the pips I preferred with the old ball, is well-suited to the new ABS ball. And what I also love is that I can use them (in OX) equally well for both at-the-table blocking and for chopping. On blocks, the ball stays very low over the net, and you get decent spin reversal, to the extent possible with this ball. On chops, they don't necessarily generate as much backspin as you'd get with some other pips, but they keep the ball low and on the table, so you can outlast many opponents simply through placement and wicked trajectories. Now, hopefully the geniuses that run this sport will stop fiddling with the ball so that we can just get back to working on technique and enjoying the game!Quality - 03/07/2018 Great long pips, Review by Jon Bradley

Kamikaze has the perfect blend of control and deception for me. I am using Firestorm and Kamikaze and I twiddle a lot. In the past I did not utilize the long pips as much as I do with the Kamikaze in 0.5 mm sponge. Now I feel comfortable with both sides. I can play the point out with multiple flips or no flips depending upon the opponent. I play close to the table with the Kamikaze and it really excels at keeping the ball short. I have not played with a better long pip that I can control well and still bother my opponent with disruption.Quality
