Firestorm combines a spinny short pips topsheet with a fast, glue effect sponge. This tensioned short pips rubber generates high spin and speed with a strong catapult effect for short pips. You can execute most inverted rubber style strokes while still allowing you to hit through the ball as one would expect from short pips.

Play similar to the black and red version. Had been using this on the forehand, sometimes I do twitter it. Spinny serves and smashes are hard to return.

After the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, all colored rubbers started to sprout out. As a pips user, I m excited that such a cool colored SP is available. This rubber n the green sponge tends to be harder than the other pips rubbers that I have used (802-40, Spectol Red, Uranus, Power Dragon, Rakza PO). I tried 1.8mm and 1.5mm. Yet to try 2.1mm. As this Green Firestorm is placed in BH, plus I prefer control, 1.5mm suits me more. My son is also using this and he is on 1.8mm. This rubber is faster than his FH Rakza Z...also tested out by his coach. Either way, I just like to add color to my racket and I am happy with the purchase. Try it.
