I love Darker J-Speed 90 blades. I own 3 of this blades. The speed, spin, feeling, rebound, weight all feel perfect to me. One word of caution on the shape of this blade. They make two versions of this blade: Round and Kaku. Kaku has more sharper angles and slightly longer, and thererfore it has more traditional J-pen shape. The round blade is rounder around the corners and a bit wider and thus has a more hybrid shape of J-pen and C-pen blades. In terms of playing, Kaku has more weight toward the end of the blade and has more forehand attack speed. On the other hand, the Round shape blade is easier to transition between forehand and "reverse pen-hold backhand" because of its shorter length and better weight balance.Quality - 28/01/2022 Great bat Review by Russell Johnson

After using it now for 2 months the Darker was definitely worth the extra cost compared to my old Yinhe 988 Carbon. It provides far better touch and feel on spinny service returns and short delicate shots, but plenty of speed when required with drives and blocks. It is also an object of beautiful Japanese craftsmanship. Tabletennis11 delivered right on time and was easy to deal with. I will use them again assuming Brexit (not supported in Scotland) permits them to continue providing great service to those of us unlucky enough to reside in BoJo's Britain.Quality - 07/10/2019 What a lovely piece of wood Review by Al

This is my first time playing with Hinoki, and it's everything I hoped it would be. Amazingly controlled in the short game with a ton of speed when you really hit with it. I don't twiddle with it, but I do use a backhand rubber for RPB and the handle shape is great for that stroke. Flicks over the table were easy after a brief adjustment and that was my greatest worry coming from CPEN.Quality
The Blade (once sanded to fit) is incredibly comfortable to hold and the overall finish gives you the feeling of quality. I can't see myself using anything else in the near future.
