Light, excellent control without sacrificing its power. My blocking reliability has improved. attackers are surprised whenever I block and return their look effortlessly. Looping is also ok. I use Rasanter R48 in front and hurricane 2 behind. I feel hard spinny rubber is suitable for this racket.
06/05/2020 Feeling. Light. Worth a try as an alternative to the usually hard / fast blades Review by Jason Koh

The delivery & service was speedy. The rubber was nicely cut. I loved the dark-colored box that came with the Darker blade.
The smell of the wood is so pleasant & distinct. The finishing of the blade is as you'd expect a fine Japanese product to exude - smooth, and nicely finished.
I had a Donic Bluefire JP03 and Yasaka Rakza7 for the rubber.
The ability to control the ball is amazing.... applying force gives a somewhat "hollow" sound, and the speed is there when you need it. Upon impact, the ball feels as if it stayed on the rubber longer than it would when using another blade. Very interesting feel.. took a little while to accustom to. After getting used to, trying other OFF / OFF- blade feels the control is lesser than what this offers.
Totally loved the blade, the wood, the smell.

I helped my friend to buy this, so I will also help him to review it. He says, he likes it with a smile on his face! So, that's 5 stars for quality.
27/06/2014 A blade with almost everything a player wants Review by Kai Ho
Quality
What they say about hinoki wood is mostly true - it's the best wood to make table tennis blade. It gives the player an excellent feel for the ball and great control. Power is not sacrificed, it can be had with swift motion of the arm and of course with good rubbers. It's an all-round do-everything blade.
The smaller rounder holder grip takes a little getting used to. It's different from many of the more elliptical penholder grip. A few hours of play is all that is needed.
I'd recommend it to anyone who wants that bit of quality money can buy.
