Rubber type : inverted
The topsheet of the Rasanter rubbers has a high degree of glossiness to compensate for the loss of rotation after the introduction of plastic ball. R is for rotation. These rubbers have better spin potential and allow you to consistently play a large variety of shots. Rasanter R45, R48, C48, R53 and C53 rubbers are equipped with the sponge that has the same pore size as the previous Rasanter versions but with increased inner tension. This makes each cell a small compressor and gives the rubber greater power potential. The 45 ° medium sponge supports both active and passive strokes in the best possible way. The perfect balance of spin, speed, and control is the basis for variable offensive table tennis.

11/03/2024 Good hybrid-ish rubber, I like it on backhand Review by Robby Green
Quality
Let me preface this review by saying that I prefer Chinese-style rubbers. I've played with DHS Hurricane 3 and Skyline 2 on both sides for most of my amateur career. As far as hybrid-style rubbers go, I think this is better than Dignics 09c and Rakza Z. Rasanter R45 is great for the backhand, though I would not use it on the forehand because the contact time is too short.

I've also tried Rasanter C53, which I think is more like a Chinese rubber than the Rasanter R series. If you're looking for a more Chinese-like rubber, try the Rasanter C series and go for a harder sponge.

Using it for 3 weeks now. Overall, good spin and decent speed. However, mine sweats very easily in moderate humidity, more than any other rubber. Not sure if it is the case with all R45, or just mine.
25/11/2022 Good rubber, bouncier than I like Review by Leo Hong
Quality
It tends to make the ball go off the table because of the catapult (dynamic). I wouldn't recommend it for outer carbon (Butterfly ALC) blade. For wood blade, I wouldn't recommend max size, maybe one size thickness lower. Price/perform ratio is not as good as other rubbers such as Tibhar evolution series. I have not played long enough to tell the durability. The R45 is good for backhand. R48 is too much catapult for forehand or backhand.
03/11/2022 Good soft spinny rubber for backhand Review by Leon Siu
Quality
This rubber allows me to grip the ball and to open up with my backhand. The soft sponge is forgiving in rallies. However sometimes it feels as if the ball dwells on the rubber for too long. I wish they make a R46 with the same sponge!
Nice spinny rubber this one.

More speed than my usual R42, good spin. Seems more suitable for my style on FH.
05/07/2022 Amazing Rubber! Review by Ken - In the USA

If you are a spinner then I highly recommend this rubber! I just recently decided to move to max sponge on my rubber purchases. Installed it on a Donic Epox Allround and the combo is excellent. My game is all spin and attacking. This rubber generates tremendous spin, and drives extremely well yet gives you great control in the short game. Try the max sponge. You'll be quite surprised!

Give you control in BH blocking and flicking with spin. Ideal on my Timo ALC.

Have used Rasanter of various designs for a while. Does what many other rubbers do in terms of spin, speed, and control for a fraction of the cost.

14/01/2022 Good product Review by Igor Fefelov

There is a catapult effect. In terms of rigidity, it is universal, suitable for playing backhand and forehand. In my opinion, this rubber is denser than MX-P.
22/11/2021 Good, spinny Review by Vincent Meunier

Good, spinny but not terrific. Very sensitive to the opponent's spin.
28/09/2021 Very nice feeling Review by Dusan Pejanovic

I have it in 2.0mm on ALL+ blade.
I tried Dignics 05 in 2.1mm and it was too bouncy for me.
This is perfect for my style.
06/08/2021 As good as below Review by Jesse

I am a lover of the Rasant Grip. In a period, I think it is better than T05. R45 doesn't let me down, as good as its predecessor.
29/07/2021 Top quality rubber from Andro Review by Anton Kukeste
Quality
Tried on forehand and backhand in 2.0 thickness.
On the forehand, I prefer harder sponge rubbers, at least when it comes to inverted, so to me it felt a bit too soft.
On the other hand on the back and I've never felt so much control at that speed level with any other rubber out there. Really gives me confidence when I'm trying to go for some powerful backhand topspin.
Overall topsheet of Rasanter R45 feels durable. This can be a great alternative for those who use rubbers like Tibhar MX-S.
