TThe Yasaka Sweden EK Carbon, as the name implies, introduces carbon with the oak plies into the Sweden line of blades. The excellent feeling and sensation that this blade series is known for is present in this blade but with it, the carbon layers add extra high gears for high power. This blade is best suited for an offensive game at close and mid-distance.

Crisp contact offered by koto gives it a slight harder feeling than Ma Lin Carbon yet the overall playing feeling is not hard not stiff ...wonderful top spins and counter top ...fast but controlled whe do passive blocks. Good quality and finish, overall great blade!!

Gives a little more feel than the Sweden classic.
The pen version was hard to find anywhere online for some reason, despite the Sweden being a decently popular pen for non-carbon. I'm an intermediate that loves the long, flat edges of Yasaka paddles for pen play. A good carbon blade that's a little softer than the Ma Lin.
