For sub, US 2000 players, looking for a rubber that has some of the short game and service game of Chinese rubber, but is more forgiving when you were out of position, this rubber still loop drives with good spin and brush loops well. But it has the added benefit of being able to flathead better than rubbers like Tibhar K1 and K3.

Needed a cheap rubber as I am feeling quite poor at the moment. I've really enjoyed playing with it. Can generate speed and spin well. Not quite like a more expensive rubber but can't complain at this price

With the price of the rubber, I was afraid to get something that is not suitable for playing at the intermediate level. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Yasaka Original is like a toned-down version of Mark V but still plays very well. I have put it on the blades for my two children to try. I am sure Yasaka Original, if the pricing continues to be so favorable, will stay with my children's training from the beginner phase all the way to the intermediate phase for sure. After that, they can consider either a tensor rubber or Chinese rubber.

I searched on tabletennis11 to find a popular but cheap rubber for backhand. After reading reviews and comparing rubbers and features I finally bought this. As I'm seeing with my controlled blade this rubber is very good. Not hard, not speedy and have good spin -- as per my (amateur) understanding and feeling.

I got the 1.6 and paired with the Yasaka Sweden Extra the feeling is good returning balls from mid-long range. Serves can be very deceptive and you can drop them really close to the net with ease. I am a defensive player and this rubber allows me to send slow high balls full of spin that make my opponents miss the smashes, the ball looks harmless...until it hits the table :) Still strong after some +50 matches :p (I'm an amateur) For the price I paid (less than 20 eur) I am really happy with the quality/longevity of this rubber so far. Grip always comes back strong after cleaning it.

I used this rubber on BH of Yasaka Extra Offensive blade. Even though it's a classic rubber, it still does everything well. It does not have the top speed that tensor rubbers or Hurricane 3 does, but it's plenty fast for my BH. Super good control even blocking and redirecting shots. Not too sensitive to incoming spins. Good at lifting backspin balls and providing good topspin. Rubber is also very durable (the sheet I bought from last year is still playing as if brand new). This is good for any players who do not need blazing speed on BH.

This rubber has great control, speed, and spin. The speed is not as fast as tensor rubbers, but it's enough if you have good technique. What I like the most is how light and durable this rubber is. If you like Yasaka rubbers, I recommend trying this one at least once.

Previously I had purchased Donic Liga. Partly because it was cheap and partly because I liked it reviews. This rubber is expensive as compared to Donic Liga but worth it. I am a beginner and this rubber gives me ample room and leverage to experiment with the ball. Great rubber.

This rubber might be old School but I think it is still a great and durable rubber. Characteristics are very similar to Yasaka Mark V at a better Price. I would recommend it.

A perfect rubber for Chinese penhold on backhand, soft feeling generates a nice feedback for forehand. With thickness below 2.0mm, it provide good control with great amour of spin.

Review on 2.1 black - Doesn't return serves good using water-based glue (has a dead bounce). Much better using old-fashioned rubber cement.

Soft, thin topsheet and the pimples interact great with the ball (even though a pimple-in). Throw is med-high (6/10) so I need to close the blade head.

When cutting (and I use scissors dipped in water) the edges are 'chippy' meaning the edges team. But I cover the edges with edge tape.

1 month (3x weekly) use and it stands-up good.

Still a good deal for a (old) Euro BH rubber. I'll buy again!
