The plastic is thick and protective, it's still sticky and very hard. BUT, leaves this residue/stain on your rubber that discolors your rubber.

Glad I ordered these especially since they bring two while other products only bring in 1 foil and its easy to remove since it has a little tab on the top part of the foil to take off the rubbers nice and slowly. Good price for it too.
