The perfectly adjusted, 5-ply structure made of carefully selected veneers (including high-quality Japanese cedar fir) provides for great control in away-from-the-table defensive play and in passive above-the-table play. Plus, the VICTAS Koji Matsushita produces enough power for successful attacking. Modern defenders who not only rely on their defensive qualities, but use every opportunity to attack, will be inspired by the VICTAS Koji Matsushita. Each of these outstanding blades is created individually in a complex manufacturing process - hand-made in Japan.

For an 80 dollar blade, I would give this a fairly good review. Low throw for us choppers who like to play away from the table and it produces a great amount of vibration for the player who favors touch and control more so than power. When I purchased this blade, TT11 only had it in flared so there was an adjustment period when it came to twiddling because it is much easier to twiddle with a straight handle. Something else I did not notice until I purchased the blade was its odd head shape, very large and ovular if that makes sense? Basically, when you get this blade you'll notice it does not look like the typical paddle whatsoever. My current tournament rating is 1699 exactly, there are many aspects of my game that are lacking and need improve to continue to play as a chopper. But I would recommend TSP P1R Curl or Feint II or Feint III for a good matchable long pimple. Inverted can be any of your preference really, but Tenergy 64 seems to be the "must have." HERE ARE MY CONS: Thank you if you have read this far...The number one con I have with this blade is the durability. As a chopper, I tend to push a lot to add pressure to those who are not confident in their loops/drives. There have been many times where I'll completely bang the side of the racquet into the table trying to push aggressively with my forehand. Because of this, I have literally shattered the top wood sheet and had to get it repaired. Luckily, the break did not follow the entire blade all the way down so I still got to play with it. But the durability of such a highly recognized blade is utterly weak. Other areas of the edges are either raised or dented because of how hard I push and if anybody else plays this way, well I hate to "break" it to you but you will also encounter this problem. 8 out of 10...Yes, I would recommend this blade to a future fellow chopper. Thanks everyone and have fun playing!

Excellent modern defensive blade.
I have tried many and this one is the best to me.
Great balance of stiffness, hardness and flexibility.
Chops much better than Defplay but slightly less flexible.
The FL handle is quite thick and longer than the ST making it better for bigger hands.
Highly recommended blade!!

It is a good blade with excellent quality. Handle is shorter than standard handle and it is lack of power when hitting.
08/05/2015 Good blade, but not excellent Review by Petertiger

The control with both pipe-in and long pips are very good, the cutting curve from long distance is elegant, yet the attack is just soso, maybe it's more positioned for opportunity to attacks.

28/08/2014 Great blade, good price. Review by enhpzi007

Blade is perfect. I would have given a 5 star for the price too but only a couple weeks after I bought the blade, table tennis 11 puts it on sale a few dollars lower. You should know that feeling right after you bought something and you thought it was a good deal then suddenly the same seller sells the item for so much lower. How will I ever buy again without stopping myself thinking I should wait for the next bargain price which may or may not come up sooner or later. Now back to the blade, control is truly amazing. It is defensive but can be offensive depends on how you want it to go. This blade is a gem.

The blade is good, don't get me wrong but i just feel it lacks power when you try to go from defense to offence. chopping is good and low but still needs practice to keep low. blade is good for forehand lob and smack at the table.

The table racket is of excellent quality, with a good balance and weight
06/09/2013 Excellent Defensive Blade Review by Robert Saperstein
Quality
Highly recommend this blade. It has excellent control with long pips for return of topspin drives from long and mid distance and is also outstanding for blocking back drives and loop shots when at the table. The Blade has more then enough power for offensive play when used with inverted rubber. The Blade weighs in at 92 grams and will be on the heavy side if you use thick sponge on both sides.
I use no sponge on my backhand and 2.1 Tenergy on the forehand. This set-up weighs 165 grams.

I have combined this excelent blade with:
1.victas vs > 401, 2mm, forehand.
2.tsp curl p1r,1-1.3 mm, backhand.
Truly amazing combination for defence and for sudden attacks, especially far away from the table.Victas products are premium quality, so I will stuck with them in the future.
Big thanks to TT11 team and Aleksandr, who help me a lot with his professional advices.
29/05/2013 What a great Blade ! Review by Oliver
Quality
FH: JOOLA Sensitive 2.0
BH: Tibhar Grass D.Tecs 1.6
Blade: 88gr.

In Comparison to the Nittaku KVU:

- crispier ( e.g. bang/snap sound on FH ) touch and a bit faster
- more stiff but not too stiff
- flat trajectory and good length with BH backspin defense
- topspin dip shallowly
- excellent shot capabilities

My recommedation would tend towards medium-soft rubbers.
Pros might consider hard rubbers, as well :-).

What a great blade !
