Unique blade, I tried many def, all and off blades but I have never changed this blade for almost 11 years now. I am using banned Dr. Neubauer Super Block and Scalpel with a sponge on my backhand to block and attack with long pips on the table. You can really feel the contact of the ball and the blade, and it is so slow on passive blocking that you can always put the ball short. And if you want to block the ball long you will have to push forward with the blade. If you step away from the table to chop you will have trouble clearing the net since the blade is really slow. On the table, you can attack loose balls since balsa middle layers kick in and give the blade decent power on offensive shots, so it is like the blade itself has two gears. Again, away from the table blade clearly does not have enough power. The only slower blade that I tried was Dr. Neubauer Barricade but it was too slow to finish the point with the forehand. All other blades were bouncier so it was harder to keep the blocks with lp short and controlled.Quality - 09/05/2019 Good control Review by Coach

It's a little slow. It's kind of expected being a defensive paddle, but if you want to be aggressive and go offensive, this blade will definitely let you do that. Very good price, good quality, very light weight, good feeling when I h it the ball with this paddle. This blade is as light as a feather. Unlike other balsa blades I've tried the balsa is on the outside not in the core. This helps it dampen down opponents shots but also makes it feel a bit flimsy. It worked brilliantly with DHS H3 Neo and TSP Super Spinpips Chop 2,1.5mm however after 15 minute the ball was uncontrollable. I soon found out the problem. The balsa had snapped either side of the handle. The central hardwood core was ok so for now I've glued it back together but durability is a concern with this blade.
