Quite fast for an Anti rubber, but for me personally felt quite fun to play with close to the table with quick blocks that produced some really uncomfortable balls for the opponent. I think this is the perfect rubber to learn how to use an anti rubber.Quality
You won't need much time to drive this rubber.
Very fast, Uncontrollable on certain occasions, especially in the short game,
but very good at medium distance.
Reverse spin is ok for a rubber with this speed, maybe better than Yasaka anti-power.
Blocking is ok when you receive medium topspin, but is difficult when you receive a strong topspin.
Easy to receive serves.
Difficult to perform offensive shots(especially short shots) due to antis can't generate arc and as this rubber is very fast you will see your balls go off the table floating.
This rubber for starting is perfect.

I have used the regular Gigant. It is so slow that I couldn't use it. Gigant II is much better. I think it is really easy to control, not terribly deceptive, and I love the sound it makes. I don't think the thickness of the sponge makes as much difference as with most rubber. I go with the 1.5 just to keep the weight down. There is some grip. It is not like a super slick anti.
