Very thin layer because you can apply the old rubber on the adhesive is very ideal for bonding. If you put new rubber must be applied in three layers on the rubber otherwise dwell time becomes shorter..
If you follow the instructions for use, it is easier to separate it from the sponge. ( and bad smell :))

This is the best glue I have used to date. The glue is easy to remove. However, it only gives a thin ply of glue and therefore some set-ups may need constant reglues. Best if you buy the 500ml if you are considering on regluing often.
