The Nittaku Tornado King Speed is a 5+2 offensive blade. It has 5 wood plies and two Kevlar carbon plies. While the ply count is the same as the Tornado King Power, the wood composition is different. Due to the differences in wood density of these two blades, the balance is also different giving each blade its own unique feeling. Made in Japan.

Well made, fast blade suitable for advanced level players. The blade feels hard in hand but also boasts excellent control, easy to strike through the layers while generating lots of spins and speed, all excellent attributes while rallying away from the table. However, it does require a more skilled touch when blocking or playing fast game close to the table, not beginner friendly at all.

I do recommend it.
