It 100% matches the online reviews, light weight, good power and it could be easily hit through (might be too easy). I will try 2.0 instead of 1.8 next time. It was for my BH penhold.

I bought this rubber because of its unique characteristics of very lightweight while still deliver a very good balance of speed, spin & control. As such it is a perfect rubber to help me learn RPB backhand. I bought the 1.8mm thickness which further helps in the control.
It can be used on the forehand too producing very consistent strokes but less threatening when compared to using a harder spinner rubber, as commented by my sparring partner.

I use it on OFF blade for backhand, I really like it, good block, not bouncy, easy to play short balls, good control, and enough dwell time. For me, there is no better rubber for my bh.

This rubber is light and fast. Very easy to smash any incoming ball. You can easily counter smash with this rubber. Suits players who are close to the table. Not sensitive to incoming ball spin which makes it easy to return serves.

s-1's topsheet is not grippy, throw angle is flat and its not sensitive to incomingp spin at all.

So its a great blocking rubber. Could be a great solution for weak backhands...
but if you do brush loop than stay away! Its like calibra sound, it just doesnt react, doesnt grab the ball.

I use this a gripper softer rubber on my backhand and I really can get a powerful across table shot off on my backhand and I feel like anytime the ball goes off it is 100% on me for making a poor technique shot. The rubber does what you tell it to do.

I got the 1.8 for a bit more control but I don't i can't suppose the speed has diminished much if at all from max thickness. Definitely recommend for those who loop close tot he table. This will get the job done.

I brought S1 1.8 black rubber with bat called Liu Shiwen play it. The S1 Fastarc black rubber very consistent on my forehand bat mention earlier on. It got great drive when hit on my forehand got a great serve all sort to trouble your opponent. Got all sort loops, great control, drive, Flat hit, smash and spin shot can put in when got good technique. It one best forehand rubber play so far definitely recommend I think better them most T energy rubber a part from T energy 64 similar to S1 just bit lighter then T 64. I going buy S1 red rubber since like it so much much on black rubber hope red is good like black rubber.

This is a good backhand rubber with a right blade to showcase the full potentials of this rubber. It's a medium throw rubber that suitable for backhand and can also be used for forehand if you prefer a medium dwell time. You can create a good rotation if you use the perfect stroke.

Bought several sheets of Fastarc S-1 from TT11 - all the 1,8 thick rubber was good, and the 2,0 black rubber was also. However, the Fastarc S1 in the 2,0 thickness started to separate from the sponge on 2 sheets. Not sure why.

Good soft sponged rubber by Nittaku. Top sheet is nominally tacky but provides above average spin. Speed is all there. A bit springy feeling a first but as the rubber ages and you minimally adjust your play it provides good feel. Many gears that play well short and and also away from the table. A bit pricey but if you can get it at TT11 on their weekly special sale ( I recommend that you subscribe) you will be really happy and feel really smart and good about yourself. Cheers.

Delivery to Alabama takes three weeks, but this is the real deal. Love this rubber - soft, spinny and fast. Very similar to Flyatt Soft and Stiga Airoc S, a little harder and a little faster though. The one drawback is the Fastarc S-1 chips on the edges a lot quicker than Flyatt Soft or Stiga Airoc S.

Best rubber so far for me. It is fast, spinny with good control, soft and light rubber. I like soft and light rubber. I have been playing with this rubber over four month and now in the surface is visible a wear out spot. This rubber is for offensive player. And it is very good for beginner too, if use thinner rubber due to very good control.

Blade: Donic Senso Ultra Carbon - JO Shape
This rubber with my blade feels perfect. I can serve, drive, spin with minimal effort and I can easily control the spin that I will apply to the ball and the trajectory where the ball will go.

This rubber is very fast but a little bit faster than Donic Acuda S1

Not much to say; I ordered 2 Nittaku Fatarc S-1 and that is what I received. I am no expert in rubber evaluation, but this product appears to be of good quality; so says the people at NIttaku. Tacked on a Nittaku Acoustic,I will need some time to get use to the faster and longer arc than my DHS A6002.

On Backhand : good power, easy lift against backspin, you have to be careful when pushing, ball goes a bit deep (unintended)
Forehand: It's easy playing with this rubber, lots of gears, nice spin, for my forehand (beginner) the fastarc G1 1,8mm is the better option (more control and a lower flight pad. )
Rubber is very suited to use with the new plastic ball !

Great rubber, I have fh on innerforce alc and i like it alot. Great ball feel good spin and speed, very good when playing against long pips easy to lift under spin, The weight is main thing about this rubber, its light for such a powerfull rubber. Can't compare to tenergy and other top tensors not because its worst its just different . I will keep playing with it and enjoy every minute. One special rubber.

This rubber has been recommended to lots of pen holder players who practice RBH technique. The rubber is soft, light weight with good speed and spin. Relatively speaking, the strength of this rubber is lower than some heavier rubbers such as FXP, Blue Fire, etc. Thus it is suitable for amateur players with smaller strength, especially good for pen holders RBH strokes which demands good speed and spin but less strength.

I have been using this on my FH on Nittakku Violin and i totally love the control and feeling of this rubber. I have been struggling to get the required spin with some of the other rubbers on really fast strokes which i immediately got with Fast Arc S1 possibly because it is softer - i do not know the reason but i am really enjoying playing with this rubber for now. One question i had for anybody else using this rubber is - is there even a Max size ? Everywhere i see it is listed as super thick (2.0) isn't there 2.2 mm ( super thick ) ? That would be wonderful to have.

I have this on an acoustic blade and let be just say. . . For my forehand there is no better combination. Allows for extremely fast and spiny loops.
In my opinion it's a little to bouncy for the backhand making it a bit difficult to control on more passive shots. Though its excellent with quicker backhand strokes.

The durability is also extremely good. I used it for about 9 months 2-5 days a week and it retained much of its speed though the spounge did get a lot softer after the first month or so. The top sheet never got slick (remaining grippy) as I've notice happens to many other rubbers.
