The Donic Coppa X1 gold rubber has a good spin and the speed is about right resulting in good control. Currently, it is paired with Donic Persson World Champion 89 and the combination appears perfect to me.

There are lot of variations on Donic Coppa X1 and mine was GOLD have no idea how the Gold is different from others. This rubber was recommended by a friend. The rubber is very soft and ball takes more stay time, so it is not very fast and need more power for looping. The rubber has good spin tensors. Topsheets is quite insensitive to incoming spin. The rubber is great for people who can consistently push the ball back. It is great as it can out some good spin on the ball and opponents using rubbers which are sensitive to spins can make mistakes easily. Due to soft top sheet it is a good blocking rubber as well. Overall the rubber is good and suitable for non-aggressive rubber.

I play a Controlled Attacking game especially out wide and to the middle.
I use this rubber on the BH where I like to play with Spin and Control, using all types of blocks, sometimes driving and rarely looping or chopping.
This is a great rubber with average speed, great spin and control. It is light with a medium sponge and is great for blocking and serving.

Great rubber!!! Very easy tom manage. Less spin than tenergys but more controllable. worked perfect with nittaku hinoblaze in my backhand, but in forehand it lacks spin/power!
