I understand why everybody buys 2.0 thickness. I tried max. It has very good dwell, but huge catapult makes it less controlled. Every topspin blocking goes off the table. Shortly, maximum thickness is too fast for intermediate player like me.

The Donic Bluefire M2 is a great rubber for both intermediate and advanced players, great spin for open up and feel for chopping and blocking. I’d definitely pair these up with a stiffer blade like the Waldner Senso Carbon. I play attack from both wings using M2 on f/h and b/h and have good confidence with this setup. Great speedy service from the guys at TT11 too. Keep up the great work.

Már a második szoftom, amit ebből rendeltem, az előző piros 2.0 RED került a fonákra, ez pedig a tenyérre. De sajnos ez az én tenyeremnek túl gyors volt, így megfordítottam, fonákon használom. Ott viszont nagyon jó, lévén a fonákom látványosan jobb, mint a tenyerem... tudom, igen, folyamatosan fejlesztem. De a gyorsasága szerencsére párosul a jó irányíthatósággal, így pontosabban tudok erős ütéseket bevinni, de a "vékony" pörgetések is rendre meglepik az ellenfelet. Kontránál már ügyesebbnek kell lenni, hisz max sebességen csapódik vissza a labda, így oda kell figyelni az irányításra. A nyeséseknél meglepően finoman lehet vele kezelni a labdát, mind rövid, mind hosszú ütéseknél. Viszont víz bázisú ragasztónál ezt a finom szivacsot újra ragasztani kész rémálom...

Eddig a DHS gumikat preferáltam, lévén a kínai top játékosok kedvelése miatt, de éreztem, hogy egy Hurrican III. Neo borításhoz kevés a tudásom. Edzőm javaslatára választottam a Donic BlueFire M2 borítást, amivel egyre jobb eredményeket érek el fonák oldalon. Vékonyan ragasztva nagyon jó pörgető hatást lehet vele elérni, amellett, hogy pontossága sokkal jobb, mint az előző DHS borítás. Bár a fa maradt a a DHS Power G7 OFF+ amivel annyira nem vagyok már kiegyezve, kemény és rideg hozzá, nem beszélve az idegesítő hangjáról. Hamarosan azt is cserélem, mert tenyérre is elkélne már egy jobb gumi!

Very springy, and true to their "catapult effect" claim. I would have preferred slightly more tackiness in the rubber though. Good for intermediate/advanced amateurs. I use this for my forehand, and can't say I'm super psyched. Coming from a Coppa JO gold for my forehand, this was slightly faster and harder to control, but you get the hang of it within a week. Good for flat hitting, good for loops once you get adjusted to the feel of the rubber, but the dwell time of the ball is not a lot. The arching angle is a lot, so the arc would have quite some height. I'd prefer a harder less springy rubber for the forehand. I would say this is a very good backhand rubber for players who play away from the table as the tensor construction gives the added lift in the arch to hit backhand loops without too much effort from quite some distance away. Wouldn't recommend it for other purposes too much. Definitely not for forehand. There are better options for those.

I was impressed by this rubber. I use it for my forehand on a Xiom Vega Pro. Loops very well. Spin is awesome, controls well and even though I use 2.1 sponge, it's pretty fast. If you're looking for a cost-efficient Tenergy replacement, this rubber is very close

Very easy to generate and impart spin. Good spin on serves as well as in rallies, it has a nice arc as well. It’s a good rally rubber but for loop kills you need to really work hard to keep the ball going down after topspin and too deep. Can be used both FH / BH.

This rubber is incredible and stable when I loop, etc. It's more often difficult to control with certain high tensor rubbers, but I seem to be able to completely handle the control with Bluefire M2. I have previously used Tibhar EL-P and I find some similarities. However, I am currently in favor for Bluefire!

I love the Bluefire M2 rubbers, great for looping, blocking, flipping and serving. Have used Tenergy 05 in the past but I get more control and better short game with the Bluefire at a great price. The MAX sponge is a bit too fast for me, especially after boosting, I prefer the medium thickness.

Great medium rubber with very nice tackiness and 3rd generation sponge. Perfect for backhand as the medium top sheet allows the sponge to compress more and quickly, giving the hugging effect, which immediately transfers into better control and spin. Giving a backhand fade and powering it in the opposite corner is a piece of cake. Serving is also generating more spin compared to my forehand rubber Rasant PowerGrip for the very same effect explained above. Good speed but not many gears as it quickly reaches it's speed limit. Very nice speed glue sound and effect blasting it through the table, the blue sponge is also visually appealing and great in combination with my PowerGrip green sponge. It took me a while to figure the arc of the Bluefire M2 as I'm using a DHS Hurricane Long 3 offensive blade but after few hours it was a looping monster.
If you hear some durability complaints, don't take it personally as this is the nature of all modern rubbers after 100-150 hours of training. I would highly recommend the Bluefire M2 to anyone. Just avoid paying full retail price and take advantage of the weekly sales tabletennis11 does, which works out half price compared to Tenergy rubbers. As for comparison against other brands or models, I would say they are all pretty much the same and the choice you should make is not what brand but whether you want a soft, medium or hard rubber.

Kudos to Tabletennis11 for excellent service. Reached India in 10 days.
Cons : Heavier. the 2.0 Red felt thicker (maybe due to top sheet) than T05Fx 2.1
Pros : Feels and plays just like Tenergy 05 fx. Spin may be slightly lower than T05Fx depending on playing stype and technique. Played for both FH and BH. I still prefer T05Fx for BH. Good for close to table attacking players if you can handle the extra weigth.

If you are not the conventional mark V player and wants something extra from your rubber, Go for Bluefire M2 ,either 2.0 or Max. for forehand. you wont regret it. Never played with Tenergy yet but I dont need to, this is perfect rubber unless you are a player indulging in those crazy rallies we see on youtube by professionals.

This is an excellent offensive, looping rubber with great feeling and a nice speed-glue sound. It is very springy and has great bounce and speed. It has a medium sponge and is a bit heavy. I like it better than Tenergy 05fx, what I previously used on my forehand; it is much easier to loop and the power is explosive.

Concuerdo con los que calificaron esto, en maderas rígidas y semirrígidas funciona una belleza, en blandas no muy bien, la pueden armar en dargon gigante de fibra de vidrio (off-) la m2 y es una arma mortal, buen control mejora muchísimo el bloqueo y el spin es fantástico, pero la M1 es muy rápida, además esta el hecho de que no dura mucho y es muy pesada, como dijo alguien hay que buscar una madera de balsa muy ligera, si no te arriesgas a lesiones en muñeca.

I agree with those who qualified this in rigid and semi-rigid Woods runs a beauty, in soft not very well, it can be assembled in giant dargon fiberglass (off-) the m2 and is a deadly weapon, good control greatly enhances the blockade and the spin is fantastic but M1 is very fast, in addition is the fact that it does not last long and is very heavy, as someone said it must find a balsa wood very light, if not you risk injury at wrist.

So far I've only played once with it and already I think I'm in love! I was using S1 Turbo on my forehand previously - which I love - but trying out Bluefire M2 now feels so right! It's got alot of power and spin - creates a great arc for the ball to come down to you hit the table more often. It has good tacky grip and the sponge feels firm enough to give power but soft enough for good ball dwell time and control. Serves were great with it!

Also I noticed it's a lot better for mid to far distance counter looping than the S1 Turbo because it seems to have more throw from those distances. Before I used to have problems with counterlooping into the net - but this has that extra "umph" without being uncontrollable.

I'm going to have to play with it some more to really make a final decision - but so far I think I may have found my new favorite forehand rubber.

Also feels good on the backhand - so I think next time around I'll be trying the M1 on my forehand and M2 on my backhand.

It has a very good feel, not very fast, hard springy sponge. Players who are not so aggressive and who play all round game should use this rubber. Another option is if you have a very fast blade then the combination might be good.

Greetings from Washington state, U.S.A. I received my order several days ago and just wanted to say thank you. I ordered a Yasaka Extra blade assembled with Donic Baracuda (2.0) and Bluefire M2 (2.0) . The blade was sealed and edge tape applied. I am very pleased with the workmanship and price.
After about 4 hours of play, I'm already growing quite fond of this combination. This setup, for me, has plenty of speed, and while the Bluefire is marginally faster than the Baracuda, both rubbers produce mega-spin and nice, tight arcs when looping. When compared to my previous setup (LKT Instinct, Tibhar Genius Max & 2.0), this new setup seems to afford greater looping potential and better directional control.
I will stick with this combo and, after additional play, I will offer a more complete review of these products.

P.S. I will do business with TT11 in the future.
