The Wanokiwami AO convinces you right from the moment you take it into your hand for the first time. Carefully grinded corners, an ergonomically adapted thumb pad and 100% evenly thick veneers - that's pure feeling! The wood's soul is a 4.2mm thick core veneer providing the wood a high flexural strength resulting in a direct and straightforward ball-feedback. The two affixed intermediate and upper veneers provide a special distinguishing feeling transorming AO into a top-class wood.

08/03/2021 Good blade Review by George-Marian Ghindea
Quality
Hi,
Just want to mention that I've also bought Andro Wanokiwami REN, too;
I am 33 years old and I have played table tennis since the 5th grade - amateur table tennis. In 2016 I bought a Joola Rosskopf Emotion: FH Joola Rhyzm Tech and BH Victas 401. I had a lot of trouble controlling that blade and improving my style and technique. That setup was a total mistake, I thought table tennis was not for me anymore and quit for a couple of years; So, at the end of 2020, with so many lockdowns locally where I live, I thought I should give it another shot. I bought an ALL blade from Decathlon, control-oriented, all wood, and I couldn't believe the feeling and how well I positioned the ball on the table. Of course, I was still an amateur and the more I played with that blade I realized how slow it is vs custom blades; then I realized I need something faster but with the same control as the blade from Decathlon and bought this blade. I started with a professional TT trainer when 2021 started, twice per week, 1h30' a session using this blade with FH Andro R42 and BH Victas Limber and played with this blade 10 sessions. The blade is amazing, it is not as fast as the REN. I think the Andro R42 is slowing the blade a lot. I would go for Tibhar MX-P next time on FH for this blade. I love it, but after I bought the REN with FH Evolution EL-P and BH Victas Limber, I'm in love with the REN. I play from time to time with this one, but my new favorite is the REN, so fast and so much control, it's unbelievable ... I am a big fan of all wood blades from Japan, from now on; I am still hesitating in trying a new carbon blade, I have one and for me, control is horrible on that one ... I can't even train with Joola Rosskopf ... So, I would rate this one AO OFF a 9 and REN is a 9.5-9.8, I put more effort on AO vs REN when shooting a ball, with REN everything is easier, more seamless, with AO I have to use a lot of power from my body in order to hit it fast; To conclude a very robust blade, I love it, if you want speed for FH I suppose I would go with 45-47 degrees rubbers, unless you use Butterfly rubbers, not sure about those ...
03/08/2019 High-quality blade, with a balsa-ish feel and sound Review by illumind
Quality
High-quality blade, with a balsa-ish feel and sound. High control, great for looping with good dwell time. Would call it a fast OFF-, or a solid OFF, as it's a fast, all-wood blade.
09/05/2019 Good control and easy to adapt blade Review by William Weinstock
Quality
The product is well manufactured, blade surface finished in appropriate manner.
For the forehand, I am using Tibhar gluing sheet and the blade surface is handling this aspect without defects.
