Beautiful craftsmanship in a blade that is one step above their Sweden classic. As much as I like the Sweden Classic, I could never get used to the handle on the straight or anatomic version, which seemed too small for my hand. So I decided to try this blade with a straight handle. This blade feels perfect and it has the control and speed to do everything I need. This is my first custom blade and I'm playing with this blade for couple of months. I have conc handle, but after I bought it I have a chance to try same blade with ST handle and for me ST seems better. Anyway this blade gives me great control, there are no vibrations and I started to improve my strokes and technique as a beginner.Quality - 02/10/2014 ALL GOOD. Good price, with good performance. I received this blade with ST handle at a weight of 88 grams.Quality
This blade doesn't have much vibration and it's reasonably stiff but at the same time it has enough of both. Sometimes a very flexible blade can get not so experienced players into trouble. The Yasaka Extra on the other hand wont pull any tricks on you. It's just one of those blades that does everything well and makes your life easy. I think it's more like -off in speed than all+, plenty fast enough with the appropriate rubber for anyone. There are a lot of blades in the world, so so many are not that great, this is one of the very good ones :). Greetings from Washington state, U.S.A. I received my order several days ago and just wanted to say thank you. I ordered a Yasaka Extra blade assembled with Donic Baracuda (2.0) and Bluefire M2 (2.0) . The blade was sealed and edge tape applied. I am very pleased with the workmanship and price.Quality
After about 4 hours of play, I'm already growing quite fond of this combination. This setup, for me, has plenty of speed, and while the Bluefire is marginally faster than the Baracuda, both rubbers produce mega-spin and nice, tight arcs when looping. When compared to my previous setup (LKT Instinct, Tibhar Genius Max & 2.0), this new setup seems to afford greater looping potential and better directional control.
I will stick with this combo and, after additional play, I will offer a more complete review of these products.
P.S. I will do business with TT11 in the future.
